Job Titles Changing W/O An Interview

Wish Global TMS would do an audit of all the recent job title changes that occurred without an interview. These magickal promotions further diminish the morale in locations where other TMs (who have a similar job title/benefit level), actually had to do the 'due diligence' dance, endured leadership roles at the store level and suffer through the politics that are rampant at WFM. Having to prepare for a panel of over a dozen people, only to see some unfortunate slacker get the same level position and seeing over and over, how the 'rules' don't apply to all equally. Extremely frustrating and happening at all levels in our region, up to and including our regional offices. Sad when you get to see firsthand the very same folks who landed our behemoth in the mess it's in, further making decisions based on self and ego. Old boys club as it's worst. LinkedIN, Monster, Craigslist, Headway, Indeed....

I believe regional feels the pain when they get "open availability " schedules that change every week...

Yes everyone is feeling it. S.O.P. is an act of desperation on the VP's part. Target management at it's finest....Regional folks are in their own mess. Positions not getting replaced and overloaded TMs both at the Regional and Store Level - this has become the WFM way as of late.

I'm just going to keep showing up to the show nonetheless.

@-aks don't be a hater. We know there are some people at regional level that are good, honest, hard working folks who are struggling with the new WFM just like the rest of us. With all the favoritism, politics, dishonesty, and game playing at the store level, I can only imagine how much worse it gets as you go up the ladder.

OP, thank you for post and reminding us little guys that some of our higher-ups are in the same boat as us. I imagine you are highly employable since you have a fancy regional position on your resume, and I wish you luck in finding a job that isn't at odds with your integrity or happiness (if that's what you want). And I hope you will continue to post here, I'm sure you sometimes have insight or info from regional that us store-level drones might want to know.

It's very hard to feel for you, at the regional level. Welcome to our club man, ours at store level is a cluster.
