Does severance pay included in bonus calculation

Does any one know if they add up severance pay to regular pay to decide bonus pay next year

You get prorated VCIP--whatever it would have been if you were there, minus the months you were not. I left last Nov, and it was a lovely thing to get that check this year. And yes, you deserve it just as much as those who are still there as the VCIP is for work in the past, not in the future. If you were fired for cause, then nothing.

The "I" in VCIP stands for "incentive". Why give it to those the company no longer needs? We can't afford it.

If you are high enough SGL the severance is 3 years pay + 3 years target bonus.

If you are not at that level, you get no bonus other than a % of current year VCIP if there is any.

Those who were laid off were due to the termination of their job positions. So they should be treated same as other employees, but just prorated for bonus. Look at the current situation, hard to believe vcip will be given early next year. But who knows! Look at how much debt we have. 😭😭😭

Are you kidding me? Why should those laid off get VCIP anyway?

No. You will receive the pro-rata share of the bonus your BU earns, calculated up to your point of being off the payroll, computed as a percent of your base salary.
