Locker Room Talk.......... #WholeTrumpFoods

I finally had my last day after 11years. Go find a better job, all of you. Whole Foods doesn't need you or appreciate you. They just want bodies to work the floor. Split days, wacky shifts and they dump on you for having dreams or going to school. If you're unhappy and don't like the kool-aid, pout your glass down and go. I got the first job I applied for when I looked elsewhere and you will too. Especially if you are unhappy, it's time to move on. Whole Foods needs to change dramatically if they want to remain competitive and I don't see that happening. Another Walmart with the execs to prove it.
Leaving in 2 months, if not sooner. That place is depressing and degrading. Almost 5 years in the shirt hole... I worked 2 weeks without water because the drains were stuck... rinsing vitamixes and stuff in buckets.... great quality
leaving the grocery business was the best thing i ever did. it's not unique to whole foods, grocery stores blow, you (anyone) can do better lol. there's money out there, you just have to go out and get it. unless you're covered in tattoos and dreads and can't look professional to save your life... then your doomed i guess idk.
either way, gtfo of there.
I'm keeping my front row ticket to the sh--show and not leaving my seat! My team member happiness and entertainment is at an all time high!
I am so leaving that soul killing job and I couldn't be more thrilled! I don't stay in abusive relationships and that's exactly what it's like working at hole foods. I should of got out sooner is my only regret! I know I will be so much better off for doing it! I just hope the people I work with that I care about get out too!
I'll be leaving after next week I hope. The expectations they put on team leaders at low volume stores is incredible. You're still expected to execute all admin duties and work the sales floor as scheduled labor. Screw this! I've got an interview this upcoming week and I am totally psyched to get out.
Sooooo much happier!!! Put up with hostile work environment for 7 years!!! Still suffering from PTSD but getting better every day! Landed a great job and my life has blossomed into something even better than I could have imagined. *uck wfm!!
15+ years and i left. felt like a bad marriage and i feel so free now.
10 years and I'm still trying to leave.
My last year was like coming home every night to the spouse that you know is cheating on you, now you realize it was all just a lie.
Add me to the "left and never happier" list. Very much like a bad relationship, you can't change people and you can't change that place. There are amazing jobs out there with companies that do not abuse valuable and hardworking people. I know it's hard to imagine while you are in the thick of it, but the grass really is greener on the other side.
Just go!!! I finally left after 12 years! It's like leaving an abusive relationship !! The relief is palpable!!!
Walk away. Best revenge is to leave and succeed at something else. It was definitely the best decision I have ever made and I am so much happier now. There is life after the Food Hole and a pretty peaceful one I might add.
Sooooo glad I left WFM after Lay-offs......best move I've made. Make that change if your not happy. Life is too short !
