True. I have researched it the Fair Labor Act. I am salaried non-exempt but I don't get paid time and half for overtime. They are breaking the law and I have it all in hard copy. As of 10-30 a new contract is to be issued for a new pay structure. I want see this contract and there has to be one because they are completely changing the terms. I will keep you posted.

It is my terms or I am walking. I love how they don't vacation time in for 90 days plus SNE assistant managers. I get paid $5.75 an hour to run the store. What a great deal?

I knew it was bullshit going in but I had a different agenda. I have them hung up numerous binding contracts. I didn't come to Sears because I thought there was a future. I came to help end the longest funeral service in U.S. business history.

I do shop my way per corporate policy.

It was about asst mgrs going to hourly pay rather than staying on salary. A new law takes affect Dec 1 requiring anyone who is a salaried worker be paid a minimum $47,476 OR be limited to 40 hrs and paid overtime for anything above 40 hrs. Well, Eddie wasn't having that! No sir! He was not going to give asst mgrs a pay raise to the minimum salary of $47,476! He's used to paying them less and expecting them to work 60-70 hr work weeks for no overtime. He has made them all hourly and will expect the store managers to pick up the slack. The company is going to lose many store managers and/or the stores will fall into more of a mess than they already are because store managers are not going to work more without the carrot on the stick of a raise, a bonus or even secure employment. At this point Eddie doesn't even care how crappy the stores look. The brick and mortars are just a cover for what he's really up to with the stock and the REIT and trying to save his azz financially and legally - this is why payroll is cut to the bone.

It was to announce that:

  1. Beginning next pay day SHC will be paying all associates in Zimbabwean dollars.

  2. There is a recall on all monopoly games. The money is to be removed and sent to Hoffman to be used to pay vendors. After the money is removed, reseal the game and return to sales floor hoping members will not notice until after the 30 day refund period has elapsed.

  3. Assure all members and associates that everything is okay. The registers are supposed to freeze every other transaction so we can make sure we are double or triple charging the customers debit or credit card.
