Been offered a Product Manager job at Cisco ? What are the challenges here is it worthwhile ?

In which business?
Negotiate a high package.
No innovation happens there. Which means no real product out, just some legacy to get rid of.
Cisco buys startups when it needs innovation, and product managers are only dealing with politics or are not given the power to innovate (at least those who have something to say apart yes sir!)
Run as fast as you can somewhere else. Take it from someone who,was just laid off. Been everywhere in the company and thought I was in high school no matter what part of the business- Cliques, old boys clubs, nepotism, arrogance, egotists, narcissists, a-- kissing pricks. The next Nortel

Take it not much innovation you will have a lot of spare time.
Don't even consider it. Just say no and run.
Depends on your situation, but you will have to give back part of your separation package. You're out of Cisco now and you have a decent package. Go explore elsewhere.
