Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

B2B, MAM, GOV, R2B

What part of B2B will be affected? I feel like it is B2B. R2B is newer and they seem to be doing a lot that B2B does same training same tools... those positions are growing as well... B2B makes 90k to 140k a year R2B makes 60k to 70k and they are more accessible being out of a store. They can catch customers on the spot B2B has to make appts

If a business wants to start new service where will they go? Are you joking? They won't go to a store, we will go to them. It's always been that way. Don't be stupid.

I don't stay stores will close, only that Verizon will not be running them. All indirect doors and national retail. Company owned stores are on the hit list. Trust me I have seen the wireless transformation roadmap.

Stores do have to be open at least for the next 10-20 years. If a business wants to start new service where they going to go? Online or a store it's about 50/50 to me. Fix the credit scoring and you can cut down on core

You have to keep Gov, maybe they will do a hybrid position for B2B and MAMs combined and give R2B more access to business with 100 employees or less

Stores don't have to be open. Verizon hates it stores they see them as money pits.

Do the math! See above!!

Why pay more for the same line of service sold. Plus the store has to be open anyway.

I believe they're going to do a few small "rearrangements" before the month is over but I hear the next round of layoffs starts February. Anyone hearing different?

I hope b2b is reorganized, not lay anyone off, just change the management structure. Wayyy too many people over very small groups of sales reps.

But, i heard these groups aren't being affected.
