There's a reason why corporate is scared of unions and will go to extreme measures to prevent them from forming, and it's because they can be very successful in securing workers rights. It will be a tough road getting one started but I'd be happy to participate. Been saying for years that this needs to happen.

I NEVER said ALL of Aero was Union. I am UNION. Out of the Twin Cities MN Area. It's not the best but at least we have our seniority

Waste of time. Union won't save anyone's job and HON will just fire anyone doing this and replace them with lower cost temps until AERO can be sold.

Without a doubt. Honeywell has been making profits for years and continues to screw its employees. Benefit reductions, furloughs and pay freezes has cost me thousands per year for the past few years, Honeywell treats the employees as a burden to the bottom line and continues to short them while pushing for higher performance. This is no world class company it is a sh*thole. I've been in the aerospace division almost 40 years and the lack of any dedication to the people that make them a "Premier Company" is sickening. I was always strongly against unions but it appears the only way to get this GREEDY company to not dedicate profits at any cost.

I hope D.J. found something better. He will be missed. A total shock

Torrance: Plenty of Aero work in California. Two PE's applied for jobs during the June furlough and left this week with better benefits than Honeywell. I guess Honeywell will hire two kids with the bare bones benefit package or hire contract hires through KBR.

I don't want a union but I like to see ALT squirm. We'll never win in this and I'm not even wanting to win. I just want to get paid for a job well done & know that I have a job to come to with benefits. I can't recall the last time I was told thanks for anything I've done. I'm tied to the hip with laptops and Cell phones and they are ON 24/7. I've been told I have too many acronyms in my presentation, I've been told I don't know how to present to a leadership group, I've been told I said the wrong thing in an email, I've been told I had too many words in my highlights, I've been told not to speak about conditions at work when asked what's on my mind in a group setting. I've been here (Phx.) for 34 Yrs.

So you see, it's about respect and just because my way isn't the way you'd do it, it doesn't make it wrong now does it.

You have your pet and he will do fine, I just hope he has enough experience to do all of our jobs, oh he doesn't as he's been here 1 year.

What do you hope to get out of unionizing? I mean specifically?

Be careful how you conduct this campaign for a union. I advise that you not use company email for this. Some guidance on the NLRB website: https://www.nlrb.gov/rights-we-protect/whats-law/employees/i-am-not-represented-union/your-rights-during-union-organizing
