Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

My last day...

Well today was my last day at Honeywell, moving on to greener pastures. I had hoped to retire from Honeywell but saw that was impossible as I am a US worker and the job/facility will not be around that long. So best of luck to you all, it was a good ride, it is my coworkers I will miss the most. I hope Honeywell will see the error of their ways and bring things back home but I just can't take that chance. Again best of luck!

Congrats to us, my last day was last wed. Remote employee that worked at a non-aerospace site. Will miss my co-workers but greener pasteurs await.

Congrats! I have also given notice and my days are numbered at Honeyhell. Until you give notice you don’t realize how much stress you are leaving behind. Months ago when I brought up to my manager about the hub strategy it was written off as all rumor. Today there are live examples of this happening. If it’s done for one division you know it’s coming for all. I thank God for plucking me out of the lions den. When interviewing with my new employer they asked why I wanted to work for them. My response was I want to Win! Of course there are challenges everywhere, but not like this place. So cheers to winning again! Goodbye Norma Jean - your candle burned out long before your legend ever did.

Congrats! Three lucky engineers escaped my site today. Two were very experienced and their loss will impact our whole business significantly. I have an interview in a couple days and hope to be following them out as fast as possible. I know of at least four other experienced people looking - if they go I think the site will be done. Productivity is already minimal due to the low morale, but with these losses we have a significant inability to execute. Great job Timmy!

Congratulations! I am praying to be right behind you! I feel horrible for the people that are trying to stick it out. I'm forfeiting more than half my salary just to get away from the Corporation. Working in Arizona is the worst, all the laws are geared towards corporations that lobby for kickbacks and tax incentives. Cyclical means the incentive expires.

Congratulations! I also hope to follow.

I'm not sure how Honeywell and HBT intend to be a "Talent Powerhouse" if they force out everyone "with talent", but in the words of Terrence Hahn, "Game On!"
