Has there been more talks about lay offs again? There have been so many position movements. What is going on. Or is this downturn over.

WFT does not pay for cobra. They offer you cobra but YOU PAY FOR IT.
And cobra was not cheap. Not worth paying 400 a month when you don't have a job
I was laid off at the end of a month. I went to get my eyes checked the next week and guess what. Insurance was not active. It is NOT COVERED for the next month. Unless you get cut on the 1st then u have the rest of that month. WAKE UP!! This is not in the fine print to read.
Wft in the past paid for 2 months of cobra IF you sign up. You have to fill out the cobra forms for coverage
Insurance is paid 1 month in advance so if you get laid off at the end of October you have insurance through the end of November. Dont believe everything you read
If you are cut on the 30th then you have 1 day left for health insurance. On the 1st you won't have the benefits. Yes I know what i am talking about. They will NOT pay your insurance for the next month.

"They do at the end of the month so you won't have health insurance"? What? So they keep paying thousands in salary to save a couple of hundreds in health insurance? Makes no sense. Please keep quite of u don't know what you are talking about. No hearsay.

More layoffs? Yawn. We've been living with the layoff knife on our neck for the past 18 months. Whatever.
Be prepared, they will do it at the end of the month so you won't have anymore health insurance. Get your eyes checked now and flu shots done. If you get cut at the beginning of the month, then you will have that full month of insurance covered, but it is normally done at the end of the month so they don't have to pay another full month. GOOD LUCK! AND HEY, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
