Red Brick/Health Savings Account incentive payments?

Hi,

I spent some time in September trying to maximize my HSA incentive pay (i.e. got a physical, had the follow-up call, tracked my activity, etc.). Are these payments being made to the Health Savings Account? I'd expect them by now but not sure if I shouldn't hold my breath. Anyone know?

3yen: can't completely disagree, but don't think your usage of insurance isn't known by your employer either. Cisco is a "self pay" company, using the insurers as processors and gateways only. Somewhere in the SPD or full length legal is probably something about them being able to see what issues we have -- or at least how much you cost the company last year.

Oh, and that information is already in dbs everywhere. Good luck getting life insurance if you've used your insurance for something serious.

I recommend that you do not share that type of data with your employer. I am convinced (at least the year I got whacked [2011]) that those with health issues as revealed by the screenings were targeted for layoff.

I see. You're gone. The "rumor" I heard is that you won't get them. But as someone said, call HR for the definitive answer.

I know it is water over the bridge, but maybe something to think about in the future. When an employer offers you something with a yearly window, try to obtain it as early as possible. I'm already 50% on my way to my incentives for 2017! You cannot trust employers. Take it as soon as possible.

I can't speak to the 2017 program, but the 2016 program ran 1 Oct 2015 to 30 Sep 2016. Assuming you were enrolled in the HSA plan, did the physical & completed the follow-up call like you said you did, then the first payment should have been in Jan 2016. Then as you tracked your activities for each quarter, then each quarter was paid out by the second payday after the quarter ended. I'm not sure how/when activities tracked in the last month are paid, especially for someone impacted by the LR. I maxed out my incentives by April & was paid by Jun. I'd recommend you call HR.

ah, you mean for employees who are still working, right? I forgot to mention that I was part of the LR; do you or does anyone know if we'll get that payment? Thanks!

Last paycheck of October or first paycheck in November.
