Surprisingly things are a bit brighter. Maybe it's the 4.9 days bonus announced yesterday.
I think most people believe there will be more layoffs, though nothing as terrible as ACT. They also believe the stock price is indicative of the strength of the strategy - though not today's massive decline in price.
I'm the old fart and the only one who does not believe or drink the koolaid.

I love it at Intel now with a reduced number of old farts around. I was tired of hearing, "That's the Intel way...That's how we have always done it at Intel..." These old geezers are usually resistant to changes.
I used to be a duck fan. After the rapid collapse I hang my bill in shame. For 30 years I was a proud blue badge intel employee. After the recent few years of Orwellian culture I'm ashamed to admit I once worked there. But I was lucky to be ejected early. I fear the once great company seems to be headed for an IERR/shudown.
Ask the folks working in the 14nm factories or the ones in Oregon working on 10 and 7nm how things are. Their life is worse than if you were an Oregon Duck fan!
