Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Too Little, Too Late

Well, the price of oil is up to $51.74 today. Just think, if all of the MCP's, especially Gorgon/Wheatstone, had not been so screwed up by Chevron management, many people would not have been laid off. The Permian basin is projected to produce over 2 million barrels of oil per day by next month (from fuelfix), the highest production numbers since 2007. Chevron laid off a huge number of people from the Midcon BU this past April. What a mistake. Meanwhile, back on the corporate farm, JW and friends collect their nice paychecks and bonuses and congratulate each other on a job well done.

Its like any mega company like the government to hard to change that is why the mid teir oil companys will succeed. If something is stupid they change as a matter of need CVX will blunder along doing the same old PRC excution. Lessons from one project to another mean jack as they will make some one look bad.

And the robots of Chevron will go on arrogantly thinking they are the best, despite the facts.
