WAY TO GO!!! PERFECT!!! Asked what everyone wants to ask.
And to Dave's snarky response on whether your colleagues thought you were the best to ask the question or were the most expendable, report that bastard to HR.

Did she ever get an apology for the initial part of the response or a clarification that it was intended as humor rather than an implied threat?
I admire her courage. Thank you.
That woman is my new hero
Kotex is a punk,
I love you_ (name of the brave lady) 😃 you are my hero... I would like to have a baby with you!!! 😋
Cody IS HR. That's the problem.
What's even more appalling is that this was a NEW employee.
I've been on the fence about whether to stay at Honeywell or leave but after seeing Cote and his totally inappropriate response to that woman, I have made my decision. i no longer can work in a company with a culture like this.
40 hours a week. That's it. No more checking emails on vacation. No more working from home when I'm not well enough to go into the office but could probably work from home. Productivity will definitely go down. I am already seeing it in my building and listening to others. Backfire? Yep...completely.
I am embarrassed and ashamed to be associated with this company. I avoid answering what company I work for when asked.
His response to her was so inappropriate, I wanted to jump through the computer screen and scream "F$#@ YOU, COTE!". I can't believe he thinks he can get away with that. I sincerely hope he makes a formal apology to her and to ALL of us, and soon. Otherwise, we may have to ask Mahoney how he felt about Cote's response at the next Aero Town Hall later this month! I'd like to see him make a stupid remark about it so they both f-up and get played on youtube to everyone outside of Honeywell (especially our customers) to see how truly screwed up this company is.
The Honeywell Codecof Conduct states that all employees should be treated with dignity and respect. Either this doesn't apply to Greedy A-Hole CEOs, or Dave needs to be let go without his golden parachute!!
Our CEO's example of behavior is APPALLING!!
There needs to be an HR complaint filed against him. As a manager, I'd be fired for speaking to a subordinate like that. Even if there were no consequence, I respect my fellow employees to ever treat them in this way.
The fact that this fat, rude @sshole thought it was OK to joke about someone's job like that, speaks volumes to his lack of character, lack of integrity, and lack of respect for the employees who made his gigantic, obese @ss wealthy.
Yes.
Cote is a toolbox and would treat anyone who disagrees with King Cote in this way.
Patronizing and dismissive response to a well worded question. Would a man be treated the same way?

45:17 = is the mark!
1:07:13 = "chiner" - really DC?
She is my hero!
Anyone find it peculiar that no question about RIF and Furlough?
Doesn't that totally violate the Honeywell Code of Conduct? Wow, how can even Cote get away with that?
Yeah, when Cote made that 'expendable' crack I couldn't contain myself and blurted out "That's B.S.!" Totally inappropriate.
For those that missed the town hall it's now on the intranet with the actual video of her asking the question.
They didn't edit the town hall where Mahoney told us to go make baby clothes in response to a question about employee retention.
This leadershit team is so clueless they probably will keep it in because they think Côte handled the question super.
Davey is nothing more than an unethical, lying goombah. He's an obese moron who dresses like a schlub and lies through both sides of his male pleasing orifice.
Yes. Although I bet you a dollar they edit this out.
does HON usually upload town halls to the intranet?
Will keep everyone posted on her "status" here at MP. I really hope his town hall goes viral somehow to show what a dismissive jerk he is.
I would love to give her a bravo but they cut that as well!
I hope she doesn't wind up "missing".
Please let us know if she keeps her job.
Let's all give her a $50 Bravo. She deserves it. It will help her when she gets RIFed
Can somebody who knows this lady give her a bravo award? Us low level workers are allowed to nominate up to 50 bucks or something without too many questions asked.
Asked her if her colleagues decided that she was the most expendable or the most brave. Then he Congratulated her on her bravery. I'm not sure why a legitimate question should require bravery.
So proud of this woman. I missed the call but it is definitely something I am too chicken to speak up about . So happy her voice was heard and furthermore, what a jerk Cote continues to prove himself as.
Did Kotex really give her a underhanded threat? Saying she is expendable?
Please tell her that we are all so proud of her😊
I am on site at MP and know who the person is through working with the business. Went over to find her with a colleague to say thank you and we support her. She was in a meeting which I hope it was not with HR.
It's obvious HI workers are just a big joke to Cote and the ALT.
I missed it. Is there a transcript?
Agree. Disrespectful and inappropriate. A clear violation of Honeywell Code of Contact.
Had that been me I'd be a hot mess. Wouldn't be surprised if she's locked in a stall in the bathroom crying right now.
Brave doesn't even come close to describing what she did. I for one applaud her!
Our chairman was so disrespectful of this colleague of ours. Is it not a laughing matter for her nor for the others she was speaking for. See Page 13 of the code of conduct "Respecting Each Other and Promoting a Positive Workplace". The code of conduct applies to everyone not just the rank and file employees.
