Software, Q&R, Intel labs, CAD, Data Center, CCG, IoT, PEG, foundry, ATTD....they should all be merged and renamed fab support. Too much bs in those groups that in the end are derivative businesses.

@JZ3ow2o-2dln TMG and LTD management all focused on telling BK and the world for the past decade they are the best and that failures in product launch is all due to cr&ppy design.
Product teams all focused on hitting schedule, which they always miss and always look to blame everything they miss on TMG for their terrible execution and embarrassing PPA
Everyone from VP on down is focused on CYA as that is the most important priority for your career, and you wonder why things are so disfuntional the past decade and getting worse and worse as products and process slips are the norm, all about blame the other guy!

This thread shows exactly why the Intel way to do things is no longer working. It's always somebody's else fault if stuff is broken or late, and groups are too busy trying to get their way and blame others instead of pulling it through and get it done. I am really sad that this is what we have became.
If the product guys were better az fab would be fully loaded with compelling product people want to buy.
Their factories???? Let's talk about the $3 billion dollar blunder in AZ, or as we call it, The Fab That Never Was!
Product Design totally wastes our process leadership with eaningless features and gratuitous complexity serving no purpose other than to stroke the ego of the architect and designer. BK knows this well after decades in TMG and is busy pulling up the dead weeds.
Fab people are a bit full of themselves. Their factories pale compared to TSMC and the technology is lagging now. The glory days of intel fabs past a few generations ago. Big cuts and closures are instore for TMG as their failures and incompetence is many

Actually all groups do work, for the naive and stupid it may appear they don't.
I agree some of the groups you lost d should be shut down or halved in size.
Don't worry the ACTs of 2017 and 2018 will take down the support groups as well as the fabs to 😉

Design groups work designing real products, but you are right some groups think Intel sells paper.
True, but they have to deal with crappy management which defeats any and all ideas and improvements they recommend.
