Honeywell employees who have been taken advantage of, we are the silent majority hiding in the shadows afraid to speak out against the corporate fat cats who run the company. Stand up and put a stop to these furloughs and layoffs.

Honeywell works their lower leadership to death, squeezing them dry without any incentive, cutting their pay. Then they have the gall to have these employees grin and bare it to help upper leadership try and paint a facade of a healthy company. Upper Leadership, you are naive to think you can hide that you are trying to keep the stock price up, while laying off and continuously furloughing the employees who make your company strong.

I really wish we could ask at the next town hall if the upper management is going to forego their bonuses. If things are really as bad as they say (and they are not) then they should give up their bonuses. A bonus is supposed to be for a job well done, and if we are losing money then they are not doing their job and do not deserve a reward.

Ridiculous. We're literally telling our customers who have signed time-and-materials contracts with us that we don't want to support them anymore. If you don't want to do the work anymore, Just leave the industry, Honeywell. You're an embarrassment and a disgrace to the industry.

True. Furlough Implementation

Aerospace will conduct an unpaid work shutdown, or furlough, in the United States and Puerto Rico as follows:

• All employees will be required to take one full work week of furlough as defined by payroll. The furlough will begin at 12 a.m. on September 19 and will run through 11:59 p.m. on September 25, 2016.

• HTSI, FM&T, Transportation Systems and all ISC direct and indirect touch employees are excluded from the furlough, along with select groups of employees in other SBU’s due to business requirements. These employees will be notified by their manager or Human Resources contact.

• A small crew of employees will be required to work during the furlough week. These employees will be required to take their furlough the week of September 26, 2016. Your supervisor will inform you if you fall in to this category.

• Additional furlough process and procedure details will be communicated next week.
