Any idea if the furlough applies to Canadian employees? We received the email from Aero leadership but it's only referring to US and Puerto Rico.

we got word this morning no furlough in Ottawa this time around
I understand the Canadian Labour laws are a bit stronger and trying a second furlough in the same year would be illegal and justify employees to fight back... finally... I am sure that Canada WOULD be affected if there was no implications to Honeywell.
Comm from HR sez Canada is excluded from furlough.
I just discussed this w another tier 5 manager in Toronto and we are guessing that it is most likely that the furlough will indeed apply to the Canadian operations. We simply couldn't think of a reason why not. You will note that the email left the possibility wide open.
