Oracle is surviving by selling their crappy database product with 1990s level tools that are expensive but stupid and incompetent decision makers in some companies are dumb enough to buy this stuff and force others to use it and ruin their career. My company's stupid it leaders have been trying to migrate their existing data warehouse from SQL server to oracle for more than a year with no success. I hope they get fired and oracle also goes out of business.

It's well known many oracle users are biting at the bit to find alternatives and they will. It's only a matter of time.

Why so much hate? There are competitors out there. I can bet any big companies are the same as Oracle. Open source is the way to go.
