Always take all of your vacation in a year.

Take all holidays unless within 2 weeks of project completion. Then take comp time.

You will be more productive. You and Intel benefit from you going on vacation.

No other company had so much wealth and opportunity than Intel with it''s x86 monopoly and squandered it all. The only thing they have to bank on is the x86 cloud / server.

As big, profitable it is I don't think it is enough to justify the current spending, size and silly initiatives.

A fish rots from the head. Look around at the depts, for years folks who play the game are promoted while those who execute but not in the "favored group" are continuously being sidelined. Have personally seen so many promoted to lvl 9 and above who doesn't deserve it, but promoted due to buddy with higher ups. Drinking, partying, going on holidays with the higher ups are what's required for promotion. In some cases, CoC was filed against the dept director for favoritism and promoting those who are in the inner circle, those who go drinking and partying with the director. What did HR do? Write the case off. Intel is going down due to its terribly gone wrong culture. But there will still be some years before the dreaded happens. 13.5 billion revenue per quarter is still a lot of money! When the fall finally happens, those in power now would have comfortably amassed their wealth through intel's very generous tcomp!

Intel is old, Lazy, no creativity, no love of work, no couristy, no passion, no drive, no balls, no dreams
