yes, VRIF employees got letters on Friday that they were accepted and would work through Friday, September 16th. The involuntary RIFs will get it on Tuesday. The VRIF employees will have their exit interview on Wednesday and I assume they will leave after that. The thing that was so inconsiderate was when the letter came out requesting volunteers on July 12th or 13th, they said that they would act promptly on this. Well 8 weeks later they are finally getting around to letting the volunteers go. This is pretty crappy. No communication whatsoever. HR had their lips zipped shut. Managers new nothing - for 8 solid weeks. Pitiful.
