Take some of ours if your store has empty shelves. We are so flooded with stock that we dont have enough help or time to get out it is unreal.

Haha but for real 9055 is almost word for word the same BS Eddie was talking about during the shareholders meeting.
Sometimes the curtains covering counters are actually better than some of the crap we get in to fill the shelves. All that Smart sense food that nobody ever buys and goes out of date. And they just keep sending more in. 9055, it is nice to know that Eddie Lampert's shills still visit the forum. At least someone is listening to the workers, even if they have no intention on addressing any of their concerns.
First of all, the white curtain sections off a part of the store that is no longer used for salesfloor. There's no underhanded hiding of anything here.
OTHER retailers have done the same thing when right-sizing the sales floor and inventory.
I formerly worked for McCrory Stores and the same thing was done to stores that were 85,000 sf and up to 100,000 sf when store sales did not support filling such a huge store with inventory. BTW those big stores were cut down to 40,000 sf and actually performed better than when they were huge cavernous stores.
