First my sympathy to all of you for what you have been going through. I cannot imagine a company acting in such a way. You have my best wishes. Todays Atlanta paper says Honeywell plans to open an operations center in the immediate area. Claims it will involve technology or software development and will create several hundred jobs. There was nothing noted regarding the pending layoffs.

Honeywell may get a $2M bonus from the state of Georgia for bringing in 850 software jobs while employees in Norcross, GA are having their 2nd unpaid weeklong furlough. Different division yes. Same state paying the bonus that also takes our tax money from one division to give to the other.

It will be a call center and all the jobs will be in India.
