Thread regarding CVS Health layoffs

Company going downhill ever since CEO change

It surprises me the ideas the company comes up with. The curbside pickup being the newest piece of trash in an ongoing stream of trash ideas. More work for the same crap pay? Hilarious. As if that werent enought one would think more hours would be granted in order to implement said new idea, but no. The customer survey is beyond ridiculous as anything besides a perfect 5 does not count. Then do not get me started on the cheap chip card readers that take an hour to process and create lines. Then you can only call one other person for backup because the store cant have more people on because of the lack of hours.

yes. We live in San Antonio and CVS stores are in deep trouble. Pharmacy is terrible. Promising to refill medications but never do. Never have the medications in stock. they need new leadership badly.

CVS has changed in a negative way. Store is not well maintained, grounds are covered with trash. Drive up window no longer available because of staffing, which was so helpful during COVID. Computers often do not work.
I am changing pharmacies. I was hoping things would improve, but have not.

This is nooo lie, cvs corporate does nothing for the the employees who do keep the stores running --wont give more hours for the boat loads of work they keep adding and then want us to continue to say hello to everyone and get tasks done!!! It's all ridiculous for minimum wage

Hi. I'm from Reading, Pa. and have worked for CVS for 27 yrs. First they took away assistant manager positions and made me a shift A. Then last year CVS re aligned the positions and decided to do away with shift A supervisors and make every one just plain "shifts" no matter how much seniority others had. So we have new people being hired and have the same position as me and think they know more. To top it off CVS took away $3.00 per hour from me because I made to much money for my new position. Cooperate keeps coming up with these brain storm ideas which create more work and no extra hours in the budget to do. The company is no longer a great employer. They don't care who you are and how long you have been with CVS. In fact the longer you are with them the more they try to push you out.

I believe CVS practices age discrimination. They make it so hard on people who are 50+ because they hire young employees age 23+ and stick them in management with no training whatsoever. Then these youngster ride you until you quit. After 2 years of verbal abuse I quit. All the upper management (district manager and district pharmacy supervisor are old but they don't care). Keep going like this and eventually the stores will close because there will be no business. And how about the bonuses trickling down to the front line employees. I don't belive a 14 cent raise is just. This old woman pharmacy tech has had enough.
