Thread regarding GE Oil & Gas layoffs

P.O. has been cut

so I heard it from the horses mouth that GE hires a company to produce the yellow packages for the workers who will get laid off. Apparently GE has already cut the p.o. for this company to work on consolation packages . So in fact there will be layoffs soon. get ready fellas ..

The help desk will be there to answer your lay off questions such as how the f do I file for unemployment, what are your healthcare options, do you want to work another ge biz which is also hurting, the list goes on. Each ticket will be resolved in the normal time frame they work. So picking up equipment takes ones year. A password reset is 48 hours. A software package is 3 weeks. A lay off explination well let's just say the door will hit you on the way out. Don't worry you will get a job in 2-5 years like the rest of us unemployed bums.

If a PO was cut then the supplier won't get paid, it will get hung up somewhere in perspective. Therefore the supplier won't delivery items ordered. Then a wf will have to be started and a help ticket. A committee will have to be formed and webex meetings held to figure out why the items have not been delivered and what will be the best course of action to receive said items. Paying for them will be out of the question.
