Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Lowe's is too heavy

There are far too many employees at the corporate level with Lowe's. Department managers are not utilized to "manage" as it is now,. They are used for customer service, solo coverage of departments and shelf stocking. Every time the stock price drops, the top of the pile takes a pay cut (see Niblock's net $19m stock trades April this year). I say start with Niblock and Damron and keep going until you eliminate the real problem.

They keep messing with our " bonus" and making it harder and harder to get. Then every other word out of thier mouth is SSEI. Get rid of thier bonus and see how they feel. Workers do alot more and deserve it more than them. Especially the management they have now. All butt kissing yes men and women.

Store I worked in (past tense) has no one working most of the time in most depts. customer's are walking out, no cashier help, employees being asked to donate hrs, really? New store mgr seems to be a headhunter, but is destroying the store. Was let go after 5 yrs, never happier don't like to go down with a sinking ship, feel sorry for all my friends still employed there, they have no idea what is going on

YES!!! IT SEEMS AS THOUGH THE UPPER MANAGEMENT IS WORRIED ABOUT THEIR BONUSES AND LESS ABOUT THE STORE EMPLOYEES THAT MAKE THE BUSINESS RUN. you can bust your butt working there and going the extra mile to make the sale but get canned for a stupid technicality .. yes upper management is a problem
