You're smart to take it and roll it into your IRA @3zrt. I did the same with mine. It's already invested. :)

I only got 60K. I know it is a weird formula based on the RC and the market. Either way, it seemed too volatile and mysterious to trust to leave it with Intel, so rolled it over to a new IRA where I will park it for awhile.

It takes a while @2xwb. Something like 6-8 weeks. I don't exactly recall but it was a long time. I did know that going in though so it wasn't a surprise.

Odd that every time you looked it was zero. I do know it moves up and down with market fluctuations. Maybe you got lucky and it was up the day they ran the numbers for you. As for me, I was surprised when my deposit was a few grand ($33K when it was supposed to be $31K when they ran the numbers). I remember thinking... cr*p, it's going to be less since my RCP is going up (your pension does the opposite of what your RCP is doing) so I was quite surprised when it was actually more. I expected less than what they had told me. More is always good, huh? lol

Haven't seen a deposit yet, but received a note that I would get 5k payment by Oct 1st. I didn't even know there was a balance in my pension. Any time I looked at the available pension on Fidelity it said my balance was zero.
