Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

What I lost leaving Intel

I finally left Intel with VSP. Extremely happy with my decision.

Here is a list of things I lost directly related to Intel work.

-Paycheck and benefits. (got most of that back finding a low stress .gov job.)

-Major health problems caused by working around Intel's "Safe" fabs are gone

-extreme stress gone.

-Plantar Fascitis GONE

-Mental health issues GONE. NO more meds to deal with constant INTEL BS.

-Daily dealing with a high concentration of sociopaths, GONE.

-Sleep problems, GONE

-Degraded immune system from intel stress and chemicals, GONE

-Back pain, GONE

Believe me, the paycheck is not worth the price you will pay in your health. Advice to NCG, get some good experience/training and quietly leave to use your experience in another company. Intel will gladly steal from you and ruin your health.

Nice to see separate thread

After leaving , I regained my health what I lost

I never seen sun light when I was working. Hope this statement explains how the team was ?

I am surprised. Is this the problem of company itself or the team I worked ? Or all the teams are working 24X7 ?

I cannot tell you how happy I am to read this!! After 12 years TIS and the last 4+ years of unbelievable stress, workload and horrible managers my health is failing. I've had joint problems, back problems, anxiety off the charts, sleep issues, nightmares and just generally want to stab forks in my eyes to login to my inbox. 12 years no performance issues and now my new boss is coming after me in full force. I myself cannot wait to post on here how I feel after I escape INHELL!!

OP- way to go!! So happy for you!!

Good for you, OP. That is EXACTLY why I wanted out of there so badly. While I didn't have any health issues, I feared something brewing inside that hadn't reared its ugly head yet and wanted out before that happened and to reverse anything going on I wasn't aware of.

Also, I don't trust the cheap-4ss TWWW material in the walls and the cheap flooring material. Probably got it on sale from Lumber Liquidators (formaldehyde soaked Chinese sh*t). All I know is the air is bad there and I didn't even work in a fab but was an office worker. I sneezed daily, all day long for years. I just kept saying "It's allergies, I sneeze year round" so people nearby wouldn't think I had the cooties or something. lol

Oddly, the constant sneezing stopped shortly after taking a package. Whatever caused me to sneeze all the time was left behind at Intel.

Sign me: Glad to be gone for OH so many reasons. :)
