For two months we were all looking over our shoulders expecting to get the axe, and then no one was RIF'd other than a +70 volunteer. Honeywell "leadership" sure knows how to destroy employee morale. Seems to be the only thing they are good at.

LoL... I can't wait for the post furlough/layoff communication telling us that we all need to pull together. The only thing you will hear is "crickets" Ha Ha Ha
I don't understand what bothers these guys so much about the people that earned their pensions. We will all be gone soon enough. Then you will realize it takes more than e-mails to get things done.
The only thing Dave and the rest of incompetent losers that run this company care about is their money, their bonuses, the stock price. The only fight the employees have left us to leave or hit them where they're hitting us; in their pocketbook. Get it through your head; Dave would have us all laid off today if he could. So what's good for the goose is good for the gander! If this is how the company treats us, why do you think its outrageous that the employees react in this way? If the company treated employees better and didn't fvck them over at every turn, they'd be working hard. 10% pay cut? Thanks, i'll do 30% less. When I'm at work having to do 7 people's work because they're on furlough, take a guess how much I'll be doing! Just RIF me so i can get my severance and leave.

I can say it because Honeywell has broken every promise they have made to me. They have made it very clear that they don't give a shyte about me. Why should I care about them? They are just going to take more and more away from me. I'm sorry you are too much of a puss to do anything about it, but I'm not. I'm trying to help myself, and I'm also telling interview candidates the truth so their lives don't end up as ruined as yours seems to be. I'm not being negative, just realistic. I bet you are a Honeywell lifer/loser who can't get out. I feel sorry for you if a threat of violence is what you go to. Good luck!

FYI, I was referring to the Norcross plant. I am aware that many were RIF'd elsewhere. Sorry for them, but they will probably be better off in the long run.

There were many RIF'D that did not volunteer. Not sure where you have gotten your info.
Yep! Timmy "baloney" Mahoney has finally managed to kill the last thing that could save AERO. Now nobody cares about their job, no one cares about the stock price, no one cares about your bullshite metrics or production. Everyone is just going through the motions and waiting for their RIF meeting, walking around like zombies. Ive cut my production to almost nothing. Dont like it? Well i guess you'll have to RIF me. Yes this is true. Mike Mahoney letter goes out asking for volunteers to RIF out on July 12th and on Sept. 9th the volunteers get notified with exit interviews on Sept. 14th. Ridiculous. Yes morale is poor especially with rumors of additional furloughs coming at the end of the years besides the one scheduled for next week.
