There is a supplement page, a single unbound page, that has a few positions that corrected the absence of an S. Perhaps you are on that page?
My book had a loose page with errata: 3 people not coded a--" and one person not RIFd. So there could be other errors that were not caught before the book was published.

No sneaking done here. This is SOP for a layoff, everyone laid off received a bound hardcopy. For each person, this lists: Job Title, Age, SBU, and Location. Those who volunteered for the layoff are identified with an (S) code. Since it's a bound hardcopy, it's unlikely that you will see a copy of it online.
37 from Torrance. With 20 of those being Volunteers.
The census numbers had Honeywell aero at ~26,000 heads. So looks like ~2% (using rough numbers)
Sorry to all those who were let go, but this doesn't seem as sever as the 5-10% numbers that were floating around. Unless my census is off...

I don't understand, why would you get the list of who has been laid off? Did you work for HR and have someone sneak it to you? Highly suspect, IMHO.
IDGAF about individual names, that information is none of my business. I am curious about the demographics mentioned -- site location, job title, and age. There is no pattern, no rhyme or reason for the involuntary RIFs, but I would be interested in seeing if I could find a pattern.
There is nothing illegal with sharing ages by the way, unless it is partnered with other explicit identifying information. Think about STD/STI testing as an example. If an individual tests positive, identifying information is sent to the CDC as a means of tracking the spread. The CDC gets the person's location by city, their gender, and their age.
