Lol. Baker leadership is certainly NOT the reason this company exists. What a laughable statement. Do you know how Baker Oil Tools was started? Or how Hughes Christensen was started?

The current leadership has made poor decisions and managed the company terribly with no consequences from the board or shareholders. The only competent one recently was Mario Ruscev, but Martin ran him off. Let's look at the evidence: Chad Deaton and Martin jointly ran BJ; a previously successful business; into the ground. It was doomed even before the downturn. In fact, the failure of our leadership in this case is so bad that it should be a case study in MBA programs across the country in how NOT to manage a business.

Now you have illustrious CFO Kimberly Ross; former Avon maven; spending the 3.5B breakup fee paid by Halliburton. It's a downturn, so equipment can be had for pennies on the dollar. Likewise for technology, patents, and entire small companies. Baker could have easily positioned itself to dominate when the market does perk up. Or perhaps Baker could have squirreled some of that cash away to ease the burden on its employees and stem the tide of layoffs. Did she and Martin do any of these logical things? Of course not. They decide to buy back $1.5B of Baker secondary stock, then pay off $1B in low-interest-rate debt to "improve Baker's credit rating." I'm guessing that Martin's bonus is tied to EPS - decrease the number of shares to inflate earnings per share. It's done little to nothing to the stock price, so shareholders gain nothing. Let's also assume that Kimberly's bonus is linked to Baker's credit rating. Why else would she pay off 5% interest rate debt and lay off thousands of more employees?

No, Baker exists IN SPITE of the gross incompetence and abject selfishness of our leadership. The board should demand all of their resignations immediately - starting at the top. Of course that won't happen since Martin is the chairman.

Well Bernie Sanders supporters ....news flash, NO ONE OWES YOU A LIVING! BHI leadership is the only reason the company exists in the first place. Would you have risked everything to start business or a company that people actually want to invest in by purchasing shares. I would bet not, and for sure you would not listen to a bunch of overpaid cry babies who believe their employer owes them a living. Its called Capitalism DIP$HITS!

Ok I am. We all are. That's why we haven't made any profits since the halco takeover days. This has nothing to do with the economy or price of oil. This is about a revolt.
