Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Is outsourcing a new way to get rid of people for Cisco?

Has Cisco already outsourced employees as they plan to do with the 85 xNDS France and have done this month for 107 xNDS India?

you forgot xSA team. i think that's related to the MA policy! CISCO buy and sale human!

many xNDS will follow. Sky custom teams will be the next.

You have described the company well, lets spend millions training people, allow them to make mistakes and learn , when they are at the top of the game , lay them off so our competitors can s--- their brains out. In the mean time start a race to the bottom , hire the least skilled people we can find, pay them less.

Let them make mistakes, let quality suffer, products delayed, create a Leadership Team made up of xVP's to go and figure out what is going wrong. In the mean time there has not been a single major Optical win post Verizon, have not sold a single virtual packet core in a year, .........

The race to the bottom has started :-)

Grade 12 are useless. Old school managers with insane salaries.

Get rid of the grannies and let the young show you how things work now...

The preferred method I've seen is to get rid of any long timers, whites and or grade 12+ and immediately replace with grade 9. At least in the US.
