Seems for rank and file atleast 75% of rsu has vested and mpls are seed funding couple of ventures where this tribe will head for now. Rumor is mpls will not directly manage this time but leave it their longtime proteges and loyalists...

Good luck to them. They may think they have the Midas touch but without Cisco buying back their spin-outs they would have failed long ago. Maybe UCS was the only truly disruptive thing they have done after Crescendo Communications. Without Cisco's sales power this would have gone nowhere.
And yet, Insieme and the N9k are the winner. No all hands or ask-me-anything without the obvious question why N9k is not part of CSG, where the N5k/6k/7k are managed. Every time you hear that N9k is the next-generation platform. New hardware gets the "9000" tag, N7k survives as long as features are missing on the N9k. Silence about N3k/5k/6k.
But I guess for the Insieme star engineers dealing with real world problems is not attractive. Building demo hardware/code like ACI is more fun.
