Wish I could ask manager about all these posts. I want to know why we work so hard if it is for nothing.??.

Don't work so hard. You owe Sears nothing. Show up, do the minimum. That's a fair days work for a fair day's pay. Sears gives you the minimum and then they will toss you aside whenever it suits them.
The way this company treats its employees is why there is no work ethic anymore. People don't want to work hard for no raise or recognition/
It's not for nothing, that's your work ethic. You work hard because that's who you are. Be proud of it! Alot of individuals don't have what you have. In the end you will leave with your head held high, because you did the best you could do. Its gratification.

does your manager know? probably not, he will prob bite the bullet the same day as you.
these closures are very harsh, they just roll them out 50-100 at the time with little notice or care.
