Thread regarding Wal-Mart Stores Inc. layoffs

I am glad to be gone

They don't care about their employees... When Sam was alive they ran a good honest company but now that is all in the past... Got to keep paying those big bucks to Doug M... I am glad to be gone from that place... They screwed me out of promotions and pay raises...

Walmart was always a short term employer. In fact, I've known an associate/cashier that worked in a location for over 13 years. I found out last week that person no longer works for the company. It's not just the internal offices, It's the stores as well.

@olr Happy you're stress free. As far as "can't take it with you".....guess missing out on promotions and pay raises wasn't that big of a deal for you after all?

Walmart did 482 Billion in Revenue in FY16. Number 1 Fortune 500.

McMillon ranks #82 in CEO compensation. Give me a break, OP. Do your homework on those big bucks he's getting paid to run Fortune's #1 and a company, that if failed, could almost single handedly put us in a depression.
