As you are aware there is an ongoing conflict between the Industri Energi Union and Norwegian Oil & Gas (the Operators and Suppliers association).

Arbitration through the “Riksmegler” took place during the day and evening of yesterday 20thSeptember until approximately 03:30 21st September. The negotiations were unable to conclude with an agreement.

The Unions had notified Baker Hughes regarding withdrawal of labour (with members in the positions below to be taken out on strike), and have now confirmed that they will begin an immediate strike beginning this morning from 06:00.

Notices of lay-offs as a result of the strike have been sent to all employees, 88 ARTE positions, 12 Data Engineer position
