WTF is wrong with this company? Useless guys are being hired and get paid massive salaries. Is Swan friend of somebody in the board or how Is this justified?

Wow.... it's turned into a 3 ring sh-- show.....
Assuming this blog is correct in predicting the future, it is not bright for TMG. Mothership Intel will cast a rudderless TMG like a dingy in a stormy sea. The mgmt will then try to throw each other overboard ad more and more leaks are springing up. The final captain will go down in his little dingy proclaiming success. Intel cannot win in the foundry business. That's cut and dry. The final scene will be TSMC blowing Taps for Intel and raising it's flag.
I tell you, this is all prep work to spinoff TMG into a separate foundry company. Look for an announcement in the next 1-2 years.
@tpg we pay. I don't think you pay anything. The stock holders do, vote ur stock, if you have any, if u can't win the proxy fight, sell your stock and get out.
Employees are hired hands not owners. Dammed Socialist
So we pay millions upon millions for some eBay executive to do the bean counting, but the real problem for Intel is our technology strategy. Sorry how does moving Stacey to TMG and Bobby boy to run all of the beancounting help. TMG needs some serious help and it ain't a bean counter, LOL
@dvk yes finincial Eng is major and if he's all we could afford so be it.
Ps it's always the case people think others over payed. Most Chinese, Malas would see US employees over paid. US kind dergarden would say Intel folks over paid in comparison to them for work and results.
Ps Intel shareholders have huge holdings by Sovereign wealth funds. So it has huge diversity in owners.
Product execution is challenged. Arm is starting to dominate everywhere. With debt at historic lows it makes sense fo add experts to engineer maximum from tbe financial side. If he can engineer another five bucks uplift in stock price he is a bargin for shareholders. At least in the short run.
@jmm who are you, troll.
Why you using every emoji at disposal ??
Baskets of DEPLORABLES🙈😉😊 hanging out here.
These comp packages are in line big piece is what they are giving up in options etc. All these packages are bench marked
We all wish we had such value. Now we can raise taxes on these people :)
If you are so smart apply for the job, good luck.
@szn, there is a lot more than bean counting. Just the currency hedge, and materials used hedging those is a very complex. You are reortin in USD, your expenses are in ten different currincies, your sales maybe in other curriencies. Just one of many difficult multi varaite problem. Last year Google hedges cost it 200 mm dollars at a PE of 30 you do the math.
Even where and how you book revenues make huge difference on taxes. Top 1/10 Of 1% will always get paid 100 x of average employee.
Be happy we live in a supply demand market
-lzf is only looking at cost to the company, but what value does this no name failure from eBay bring to the company? What are projected revenue increases based on his bean counting ability? He had no technical skills, just bean counting. Last time I checked there are a gazillion business applications for company financials do he does not have much work to do. Certainly not enough to warrant a $23m expenditure. Shareholders should demand to see these high paying execs accomplishments every year and bottom line to the company. Of course, you can pay someone else $150K/year to fo the same job.
People are just not seeing this with a business perspective.
Intel has a $52 billon revenue, 1/4 of 1% is 125 mm dollars. The top 50 peoplease make less than that, i.e. average of 2.3 mm dollars. Exec comp is not the problem. Focus on problem, saving 50mm of 12t does little.
This is a huge scale issue, I understand job loss is not fun. But if you can't stomach it go work at Post Office. See how happy they are
It's hard to understand capitalism. Yahoo CEO paid a lot on exit. The new person was given a hefty retention bonus at ebay too. executives at Intel being paid 25,23,8million. They are greedy (does Intel need greedy folks to lead) Those low level employees who work hard, smart and highly educated though being paid but struggle to eek out a living (but the organizational psch indicates that org is doing a favor) Lots of Engineers let go. All These contrasts with walk the talk of C suite!!!
Great, another overpaid, useless piece of sh$t joining Intel, get ready for another 10k+ layoff by Bob (or Bob's which Intel is full of) to justify his hiring.
Sounds big, but only like a dime per hour per employee....total sr exec payroll less than 1.5% of total pay....this board has typical lower middle class views
A bean counter is simply that. It is interesting that Stacy would move aside after his long career for some bozo from outside that gets that kind of money.
The only reason Stacy steps aside he gets his own company. Sohail and Anne will report to Stacy as a seperate company. Ouch the bean counter will look at the metrics and ACT.TMG is going to be ugly!
Keep destroying the morale of this company.
How many employees needed to be laid off to cover his paycheck?
How can anyone be worth that much, BK must be desperate
May be they need a user of the tr anny restroom. It's VERY IMPORTANT for BK.
Ha makes Murthy look cheap....ps u can always apply for the r job...
Obviosuly you dont follow exec comp, another firm acquired a firm for 3b....ceo got 700mm on exit plus 250 millon over next 4 years plus options
Americans are fools, Trump pays no taxes, gers massive subsidies and 10 dollar a hour blue collar workers love him
It's just another kick in the a-- to all those dedicated employees that were laid-off. No exec is worth this much, especially on the heels of the ballyhooed, much needed layoff.
