If any of the naive students signed a "Teach-out", by law they must wait until every one of them finishes their program of study. Other than that, it's inevitable! EDMC/Ai is closing!

I can't imagine that the Ai's will keep their regional accreditation. When the layoffs occurred, credentials were only considered when the campus presidents needed an excuse to put a "problem" faculty or AD on the layoff list.

Pittsburgh does not have credentialed faculty - token degrees and argosy bs degrees. Recent grads teaching. Poor classroom experience. The talent is gone.

Isn't the main school in Pittsburgh accredited by ACICS?

My guess is they will stop enrolling at the 5 ACICS Ai's. The other Ai's that are regionally accredited will have visits from their accreditors due to pressure from the DOE. The CA schools won't pass as their faculty and AD's won't meet the credentialing requirements and because the decline in the classroom experience has been so severe in the last three years. Not sure about the others.

All schools accredited by ACICS will have 18 months to find another accrediting agency to authorize them. If they're unable to renew their accreditation, students will not be able to receive federal student aid, which serves as a major source of revenue for for-profit colleges.
