Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Original 2002 Kmart Bankruptcy

I hope my title makes sense. Is there anyone on this board that went through the first Kmart bankruptcy back in 2002?

I am wondering since I get the feeling history is getting ready to repeat it self 15 years later.

You know the tale tale signs of DC's shutting down. Freight forced out to closing stores, ect.

I think bankruptcy filing will be in January 2017, exactly 15 years after the legacy Kmart filed for there's on January 22,2002.

It seems to be what is going on now. The only difference was that back then, all Kmart stores stopped receiving some merchandise. the closing stores seem to be quietly receiving stuff to liquidate it before the plug is pulled on the rest of the stores after New Year's.
