In that aprox tax = 60k
Monthly take home = 10k.
We can't save much in SD.

No work. Just delegate. Sr staff and above don't have to work in PTE. If you are getting hired as Sr staff in some of the teams that would be the dream come true.

So if you work 100 hours per week, and that equally minimum wage at 40 hrs/wk, then that means a Sr. Staff Engineer makes only $25/hr in California, or $52K/yr? Seems a little low...
Sr staff engineers don't have to do any work at Qualcomm. They just delegate and take credit. Just kiss right butts. So you can always take up a second job
You should figure out what your hourly rate will come to. If you work 100 hours a week, your salary may be equal to minimum wage. You also need to find out what the hours are like.
