So, everything is starting to come in frozen. My leadership tells me I'm being paranoid but I make so very little in house. A few frostings and fillings, scones( I'm betting these are next from the freezer!) and biscuits. Compared to a few years ago, cakes, cookies, everything! I just really hate that they act like I'm crazy when it's so obvious. Luckily I'm only part time and haven't been with the company for 20 years. It's sad to see so many great people go.

Oh god, the Donut fetish. More of David Lannon's obsessions ruining WFM. Do we ever lead or only copy others? In other news MW Perishable VP Matt Mell leaves for greener pastures.
Only thing scratch in my store now is the bread...and after we lost half the bakers team, they cut our labor by 3%, and are expecting 1 veteran baker (me) and 2 newbies (we call them desperation hires)to do theverything same job. Did I mention that our store does scratch donuts too? That takes just as much time as bread. It's bull....I just worked a 50 hour week. We are approved for overtime, but I don't want it. I'm probably at an 89% fed up rate, and morale is crap.
@1dzc- or perhaps it will increase. After all, it was a commissary kitchen that was the source of the whole ceiling listeria thing.
On the bright side with all the stuff coming in premade in PFDS-no more food poisioning.
I there anything in the Bakery that is healthy-NOT!
Yup, stopped shopping there when I started to realize this. Customers are realizing this too, it's pretty obvious.
It's the same with PFDS. Everything is premade garbage. I wonder what customers would do if they knew ...
