Just saw it. She deserves a lot of respect and he is a freekin' loser.

To us workers we are just pawns to push around as he positions himself in a little elite club to benefit himself at the expense of the company livelihood and US workers.

The response shows the ridiculous ego Cote possesses. He actually believes that it takes legitimate bravery to stand up in front of him and ask a perfectly reasonable question. Side note: did he layoff or furlough his tailor? When stealing thousands of dollars from every employee, you'd think he can afford a shirt that fits...

The company knows it can steam roll its employees because a lot of them won't speak up for the injustices the company places on them.

For those that don't want to download... here was what she asked:

Mockingjay: Hi dave, sorry I am a little bit nervous, Im new to Honeywell so I apologize if this is something that is common knowledge, I am wondering what colleagues have done to cause the executive leadership team to lose faith in us to the point that we are no longer allowed to work remotely. Um, and that some colleagues are spending as much as 4 hours a day commuting to and from the office and they’re spending less time with families, on top on that they will be taking less pay home because Honeywell is no longer going to contribute to our dental plan. So what did we do to warrant both a time and financial punishment and more importantly what can colleagues do to rebuilt trust with senior leadership so that we can begin again to be trusted to manage our own worklife balance and stop the erosion of our benefits.

Dave: so did your colleagues consider you the most expendable or the bravest [laughs like a dorky 6th grader that told a joke that his crush acknowledged and is overly proud]

[not in the downloaded clip] Cote goes on to give a non-answer, saying the insurance market is changing and it is best for the individuals to decide what works for them. Also he feels that working in the office is not a punishment and more work can be done.

Kudos to her for asking the question and you for posting the video. For anyone who actually watched, did DMC give any actual response to her question or did he just move on to the next question?

Thanks for the clip. She is new to the company. There's really nothing much to lose anyway. The 401k match won't start after 12 months. There's no pension plan for new hires. Medical s---s...

She is probably regretting to take the job and is looking anyway.

I am a new hire too with less than 12 month. I want at least 2 years Honeywell experience on my resume so I won't be perceived as a jumper by next employer. Hanging in here for now, pretty soon I am a goner.
