At least 4 got whacked in NH today.
No one will see it coming after the pep rally and speeches that all is well.
Not looking good for "Legacy Dell" storage (PS and SC). Gist of announcements like http://pulseblog.emc.com/2016/10/19/simple-common-experience-storage-customers/ seems to be "we'll help customers move to real EMC products". Seem to be a lot of managers out-of-office lately in MN. Off-site meetings? Just paranoia? Gaps in org chart path to MA. Re-org coming? Just 'cause they won't leave customers in the lurch doesn't mean jobs won't be eliminated or moved to "Low Cost Countries" (LCC).
Not sure what this means - I know that if you have anything to do with storage you may be in trouble - does not have to mean anything
It's unlikely a layoff related visit - directors do not want to have their hands dirty - they will sweet talk to you and if the axe falls they will be far away - that's Dell way
