So my team leader told us no more double bagging. WTF??? She said there is going to be a bag shortage for the holidays and double bags don't make a difference anyway. I'm loving the new Whole Foods or WhoFo as the milli-minions say!

Your customer reduction program will solve your bag shortage problem
Sales and customer count is down so fewer bags will not be a problem. Whole Foods just hired a bunch of highly successful people from other companies and this team will figure it out.
One of the companies we get paper bags from pulled out. They could possibly be dealing with their own business failures or who knows. For once this isn't the fault of WFM. Since we are now down to one bag company and will the holidays are around the corner they are going to have to limit the amount of bags each store gets although I think later down the line we will be able to order some regular, non logo bags. Bag wisely. Or WOW the better bags if someone is insisting a double bag for something outrageous like 4 apples.
Actually in florida one december our region ran out of bags and they had to get emergency shipments from georgia
There is an exception to every rule. Yoy be the judge. Some customers request double bagging and some products need it as well. You're not going to get fired for double bagging. Just use your own judgment. You're TL probably lied to you anyway to get tms to stop double bagging. Trust me, they won't run out of bags during the holidays.
What region screwed this up?? Or are they really penny pinching this bad
