I'm planning to put my two week notice this Friday. I have been reading this site never posted on here but this one is long overdue my friends. This place is a madhouse and everyone's out for themselves zero unity no one can be trusted just sad. Good luck to everyone I have been through this before and the outcome was not pretty I do not want to go through it again. My advise is to take a step back and remember we are all humans at the end of the day and we share the same earth. Peace out.

True. Most forgot about that at Cisco. Most managers, but unfortunately also most co-workers.
Going to job hunt after the holidays I can't take it anymore.
No sure my mental health can take ANOTHER LR cycle. Annually was bad enough but now there is always another "realignment" just around the corner it seems. To hell with severance package, my health and sanity is worth more.
I congratulate you OP, and I applaud your decision. I'm taking strength from it and strongly considering following suit after 9 years of Cisco. Five of which have seen annual LR's.
The recent LR made me think about job security with Cisco (not performance related by any means since I was one to get a salary increase recently) so I revamp my resume and float my resume out there. You would not imagine the compensation, the job flexibility and the job opportunities that are out there. I am now on the fence about leaving Cisco which I did trust and put all my effort into . I drank the Cisco kool-aid and I bleed blue.
There comes a point where the prospect of a potential severance package isn't worth the wait. Congratulations, OP - and best of luck.

How can there be an LR when I heard about at least three raises for various folks? Did the last LR and this next LR made up for these raises?
Just wait until next Wed. I heard LR is happening on 2nd Nov.

Only if you are LRed 4 months is not a trade off for everyone specially if you have something lined up mate. Good luck to you sir wish you the best I have started my job search looking to leave after the holidays.
what about the severance package? you just gonna walkout on it like that? you will be loosing 4 months of free money plus the cobra.
