it is happening almost every day, here in EMEA. ACS, TAM, CSM and almost every isolated workers from BU are impacted. If you are working alone in you country, then you'll be impacted. If you are working from home, then you'll be informed lately by your manager or by HR that you have to leave the company.
A colleague learned last week when he was back from holidays that he had to leave the week after.
hurd does not care of the loyal employees at oracle.
he is destroying this company.
Hint: look at the number of employees per BU on ARIA.
You'll see number decreasing in High cost countries and increasing in low cost ones.
Also, more and more sales jobs are moving to india with indians calling customers directly.
Csts in Germany, France , UK are getting calls from indians, calling with either australian or indian numbers.
You can imagine the result: a success as the oracle management uses to say.
All the levels are impacted by the layoff.
No matter what your job is about, it is all about the country you are working in.
Only people working in the cloud BU where employees need to be accredited in their own countries for security reasons are not impacted at the moment.
