Thread regarding Weatherford International Ltd. layoffs

Is WFT the industries worst managed company?

Another huge 1.8 billion dollar loss today and the CEO says he is "optimistic". Should he be optimistic about his own job?

This guy is a serial deliverer of underperformance, cheating the books and strategic ignorance.

Anywhere else he would have been fired long ago. Good luck to his employees who are still there - they are gonna need it

Not quite....

In simple terms : This Q you overspent in your savings account by $349M, had to pay an additional property taxes on the house of $683M (... out of savings) and came to find out that the house is worth $719M less than you thought it was.

the loss was only 349 million, the rest went to tax purposes. with that being said we did better this quarter than in the second.

No layoffs announced yet. Let's see after their conference all when dumb--s-Danner is overly optimistic despite negative free cash flow again.

Everyone, as WFT will not survive. Ready and primed to go "belly up".
