Folks at Tucson are being re-badged at Tucson to Celestica.....also heard RR is buying Phx. Engines... you heard it now... confirmed.
RR is too smart to buy our tired old junk unless they plan to take it off the market altogether and only support legacy products. The aerospace world knows our products are crap cheap and that's part of the reason no wants to buy AERO.
I guess the question is, do we stick it out and see what RR offers us old timers or is this as good as it gets? Take the 26 and run. I'm 60 with 36 years in. Too late for this round and 26 weeks but maybe next time. I've requested my retirement numbers but it's taking lot longer than stated to get them.

RE: Parts Status Boy.... Who does the company really need the guying doing the work or the idiont shuffling e-mails who really think he is doing something. I've been a consultant for hire for my own company (not Honeywell) and others. I can always do that again. On the hand a whiner like you will just blog how you got screwed over by Honeywell. People seek me out because I never say "it's not my job". I won't get laid off because of people just like you I will always have a job, but not providing parts status.. LoL Ha Ha Ha. I'm going to laugh when guys like you get hit Haaaaard next month.

Already rebadging Tucson and this will be announced soon. Moving some product lines to other Hon. locations while selling off others.

Old rumor... Rolls Royce is not big enough to all of Aero. Maybe just Phx. Engines. Many believe they will re-org Aero and sell off piece by piece the non-profitable segments. Parts of R&O have already been sold to Lufthansa.
