I am curious to know what kind of options were awarded to average software engineers at insiemie prior to acquisition. Did almost all employees strike it rich or was it the usual MPLS?
I heard even an average guy made $1million..to me thats a lot of $$$. however hard to believe
whispers of 'key' players being paid massive sums like high 100s of K$ for retention after ppl started leaving for whatever are the next mpls ventures probably...
they got sh-- load of money for the junk they delivered. All got double and in some cases triple promotions. None deserved any of those. They got promotions, millions of dollars and now retention money for the junk N9k and f****d up ACI software. PEs there don't even qualify for Grade 10 in any other groups.
Even if you join late in the game right before acqusition. A nice gentleman who joined around November before acquisition always says he got nothing:) as he was late. I would smile in a response. But i could hardly believe his words
It was 1-2 M on average. More senior people were 3-5M. This for essentially no risk as product was just replacing existing product. This is why a lot of switching folks left on spin in. Wait until announcement of next deal....
Insieme came in on VERY high grades. Sh--loads of PEs and directors in there. That tells you that they must also have come in on high salaries.
Whether before or after the deal closing they all seem to have got 1 grade above what is seen in rest of the company. All their tl doing regular tl work are pe. 1000s of rsu too annually i heard but not sure if for all or the inner circle.. this +1 grade was seen in nuova deal
And after all this their products are awash with bugs.
yep.. it was bumper draw for the avg emp - if he was in insieme before acquisition
