He mentioned 65% of 500 M $ from opex - so basically 325M$ synergies from opex!
This number doesn't make sense. Mollenhead himself said that the WSJ report of only $500m in synergies was correct, which means only 2000 layoffs for the entire combined entity. A more realistic number is much less than 1000 for SD, mostly non-engineering.
Probably not that much. ~3500 in San Diego, still huge!
