Giant corporations acquire a momentum all their own. EDMC is no different. It'll die. Just wait. Accreditation for our school runs out in 2017. I do think that's the time frame a lot of schools are looking at for closure.
The tell for me is that our Dean has - in effect - signed out sick for the rest of the year. The school will fail but not on her watch. She prefers to blame other people. Typical EDMC admin and truly emblematic of everything that's wrong with the company.
We rarely saw her anyway. The occasional sighting of her fat, bloated, ponderous body plodding down the halls and periodic, poorly written e-mails were all the evidence we ever had that she was with us.
And now that's gone too. Oh happy day.
