People are being laid off and taking furloughs, but we've got all new cafeteria furniture and TVs at Sky Harbor.

Oh you better put in your goals for 2017 by End Dec or no merit in crease had to laugh when see email for this when came out and hum what merit if one or none at all they take it away as you said with high cost insurance now.
Yep you are right. There is no incentive whatsoever. On the other hand, anyone who likes being treated like a naughty 10 yo child will love it at Honeywell.
There is absolutely no incentive to work at HW any longer. Our 100% match on 401K was taken away and never came back as they said it would. 0 service anniversary recognitions. Furloughs, RIF's, no dental, huge medical deductibles and high medical insurance costs. No raises. And again at our site in Redmond we have a fancy new cafeteria that still sells overpriced unappealing food. I have given 30 years of my life to HW and feel like everything is now a slap in the face. What a far cry Honeywell is from the great years we had as AlliedSignal. It all went to trash after.....Yet, Dave has his millions of dollars salaries each year, millions of dollars bonus, bought a vacation lot for 4.1 million that all of us have paid for with our sweat, tears, furloughs.
The new furniture is for the Open House on Nov. 6th. I have a feeling that prospective buyers/new owners will be given the tour that day when everything is ship-shape, and all cattle(employees) present will be on their best behavior while showing the families around.
Sorry...many of you won't have money for bills and stuff by Christmas but you know that's just business downturn sips latte...tell ya what we'll throw in a 70s makeover in the cafeteria with chairs and tables approved by OSHA and the health department so you don't try to sue us as we fleece the life out of you. Oh and new TV for CNN all day. Because people are our greatest asset and we are fully in touch with what's important to our people. Happy Furloughdays everyone!
